VF3 or Boyessen?

If you're on a budget there's nothing wrong with a set of the boyesen replacements for a stock cage.

For the power and throttle response, vf3s are the way to go

I can't see dropping that much in a reed cage when for the loot you can get a port job an feel the real power... the rad valve is pretty good nothing that wows you though...

Im just looking for a little more performance. how are the boyesen pro series reeds just to get a little more top speed and acceleration

haha makes sense! so if im looking into reeds then v force for sure! you get you what you pay for

Not always. Unless you're ported/piped, etc., you won't be very happy with the results. I would really like to see a dyno print-out of VF2-3s vs Boysen or Vito's two stage reeds on ported cage. I look at it from a $$/HP point of view. And would the ass dyno tell the difference in throttle response? Blind taste test where the rider didn't know which he had?:DI:I

my veiw on it is much different, as is my whole outlook on my motors, i'd rather have reliability over sheer HP. numbers.
i firmly believe the vf3's are much more reliable, and are much less likely to break a reed, than any of the dual stage on a stock cage,

i've personally seen at least 3 sets of dual stage reeds break last year alone,
you have to finish the race to win it !!!

i just inspected my vf3's a few weeks ago when pulling my motor to send to ken, after countless hours over the last 3 years, they look exactly like the day i put them in !!!
