was checking out the vapor computers for the blaster and was wondering what yours guys opinion on them??

To me these things are just gimmics, waste of money.
Wont make it run any better or faster.
Adds an element of danger in taking the eyes off of the terrain, some of our trees in Oz can run out in front of you pretty darn quick.

well I wasn't looking for any performance added for it, just the convenience of knowing info about the quad
Yeah, but how else will you know if your vapor (vapour in the civilized world) is properly computed?
I had an earlier model computer on my KTM 125 street/trail bike as a legal requirement speedometer.
Display darkened from sun exposure, it has to be shaded, and the unit died electrically at about 2 years old.
Bought another used unit to replace it and it has run about 3 years now, no problem.
Speedo and trip meter were handy. some guys like the hour meter.
It was hard to see while moving and was not backlit so I had to mount an LED to see it at night.
Here it is in its more recessed position, I put my gloves on it when the bike is parked to protect it from sun.
This pict was part of a mod to get sharper steering.
I just bought a TTO temp gauge and I want to remind folks, these are single function only. Temp only or tach only or hours only.
For the price, any 2 functions pay for the Vapor.
