Valve stem installation tips?

use the special tool lol

but anyway, how i did it was a pair of vice grips around the rubber part and pulled them through, or you can use the kind that screws together

lube always makes it easier hehehehehehe

yep they make a tool that screws right on the end where the cap goes and then it has a swivel to the handle and you lay the handle down across the rim and it acts like a lever and pops it in in less than a second, haha. TBH take it to a tire shop they should just pop them in for free, it would take less than 30 seconds for them to do it.

I ended up buying one of these from a local auto parts store for $1.99

It screws into the end of the stem and you just pull it through. I used a bit of wd40 and it was a breeze.

Thanks for the help guys!

be sure u got the right size stem they make different diameters on the base just throwing that out their ( I spent way to many years putting on tires lol)

this is true, but unless you live in a big city/ or went to a tire shop that does bigtruck, and tractor tires. you would prolly have to request for bigger ones. we hardly ever had to dig into are stash for different sizes.

I bought two sets and all four stems had the the part No. "TR413" stamped on them. I mounted and aired them up yesterday and so far they are holding air. *fingers crossed*

if they fit you got the right sized ones. The ones for the blaster are about the most commom ones out there. The flush mount ones would be cool as well, definetly wouldn't have to worry about ripping one out on the trails.
