Update on racing this year, pics + helmet cam vids

Hey guys hows it goin, i figured id post a little update. Ive got a new SX, sold the XC and my first SX, the blaster finally left, only to come back a week later with the bars, stem, and plastics ruined.

Ive moved up to the CMRC intermediate class this year, its definetly a lot harder than last year but im confident i can make the top 5 for overall points.

the first round was awesome, i took 2nd overall for the day with a 3rd and a second.
the next day was round 2 i was running third with the white flag out, and another racer thried to pass me and ran over my shock, broke it into 3 pieces, so i went from 3rd to dead last in one go, I had last gate pick in the second moto and ended up 6th after battling through the pack.

the third round was no better, 10th and 8th for 9th overall

round 4 included being stuck on a sand berm while watching the rest of the pack fade away into the distance, i took 4th in moto 2

round 5 ended in a pileup on the start in moto 1 and another sand berm in moto 2.

round 6 was walton, i can never get good holeshots there and finished 8th and 6th

as of right now im sitting in 6th for points, its gonna take some work to make it into the top 5

not yet. thers 2 kids that were at the top of the class lasy year and they are too young to move up a class, the one kid is my teammate hes been winning races left right and center on his new KTM, teh other kids on one of the new yamis and hes stupid fast.

I dont know if ill win one this year at CMRC, ive already won one at the side series though

that wreck at the beginning just goes to show how great of a sport this is when an opponent will help flip your atv back on the wheels. i love it!!

it happens alt more then if your just trail riding lol... more for some people than others, and alot of times its not your fault (like in the vid)

yeah, I know what you meant...


what I was trying to say is, that it will happen alot more if you are racing instead of just riding for fun because you are pushing yourself

you just need to get out and try it

depends a lot on who youre riding with, if youre riding a class like junior like i did last year, you ride with less experienced riders, or, goons as we call them, they ride sketch and can cause you to crash, whereas if youre running a higher level class, you ride with guys that have been through junior and ride smoother.

Last year for me, 9 crashes in 25+ events

This year, 1 crash in about 10 events
