First off, thanks everyone for the advice and guidance. I don't think I could of done it without this forum.

I started my motor today after 4 months and a complete rebuild. Got it started on about 5 kicks after I took the choke off. At this point I'm doing heat cycles. I did 2 today before I ran out of time. But I got anxious and took it around the block( no full throttle) and it was awesome. 3rd gear pulled awesome at half throttle. I can't wait to give it full power. Man I love that LRD pipe.

Right now I'm running a 330 main with a 32.5 pilot on the middle needle setting. Idled nice, and idled down nice after throttle. Won't know until plug chop.

Oh and did compression test, 120psi.

Only thing I'm worried about is I ordered a CFM air box. How does that change the jetting?

Once again thanks. Specially to KOR, Blaaster, and Awk08. They are so quick to help. And thanks to everyone. This is a awesome forum to be a part of. I couldn't of done it without you blaster masters.

:)
I really should smack your wrist for riding it before you completed the heat cycles.:):):)

Do the third heat cycle, let it cool and re tension the head and jug bolts.

Now ride it at no more than 3/4 throttle for 2 tanks of fuel.

The reason heat cycles are performed is to allow gentle bedding of the rings.

When riding, however gentle you are on the throttle extra pressure is placed on the rings forcing them out towards the cylinder wall which results in extra wear on a fresh crosshatching.

The result is not devistating, but has been known to shorten engine life.

I know. I'm sure it will be ok. I'm gonna do the last cycle today.
