two questions shocks and front tires

I am looking in purchasing banshee front for my blaster mainly because they bolt right up, but my question is are they noticable compaired to the stock ones?

The second question i have is I was looing at flipping my rims/tires to make the front wider and my question is do you have to remove the sheild that protects the rotor?

if your flipping your tires on a 03+ you will have to buy new valve stems, the stock ones will hit the calipers.
and banshee shocks were a great upgrade, definatly not as stiff.

another option is to take your front wheels of, put the valve stems in backwards, then drill holes on the opposite side and install a new valve stem.
