So I bought a blaster from a buddy first drive I had it out started making this awful screeching noise which I thought was the clutch. I took the clutch cover off an removed the clutch turns out I think it's a bearing in the transmission that is spun cause whenever I spin the wheel the transmission shaft spins an you can hear the screeching noise anybody ever have this happen ? I'm thinking I might as well do a full rebuild cause I have to strip it all down to get at the transmission anyway

Was it liw on oil?Definitely check all bearings. Replace all seals.
Check the balance shaft bearings and gear good.
These motors split from the clutch side.
Just make sure to turn shift star so it will not hit the case when separating the case halves
Also need some yamabond 4 or threebond to seal between the cases upon assembly
