took my blaster to ky for 4 days and on the 4th day of riding my blaster began to make noises while driving it. No noises at idle or when reving it in neutral but a hard to hear noise and vibration (hard to hear over the noise of driving around). Drove it maybe 4 or 5 miles back to camp and on the way back i got stuck not being able to shift out of one of the gears maybe 4th or 5th. Really only a good stomp got it back to first and then shifted 1 thru 4 back to park it. After returning home i got it out few days later to find that this thing now smokes like crazy. I have been able to shift couple times up and down the street couple times but now smokes really bad. The oil level on the clutch side seems low too. thanks for any help or sugestions

to start, dont be trying to ride it right now. what colour is the smoke? if its white and smells bad then its burning tranny oil and it could either be a bad crank seal or more likely, a crack in the crank case or a leak between the split. just guessing that because you had a transmision problem that locked up then now its (most likely, pretty much only time people say its smokign to much is burning tranny fluid) burning tranny fluid so that could mean something may have come loose and broke the case.

JUST a guess dont take it to seriously, could be way easier but lets say thats worst case senario.

pull the clutch cover off. see if there is any deris in there.. and tranny oil burning will smoke BLUE. white smoke won;t happen on a blaster.. thats antifreeze burning..
