Come on tyler I thought you would know this by now, how many times you have to rebuild depends on the maintenance and tuning by the rider. If its tuned and maintained right then you won't have to rebuild often.
Think of what people say about 2 strokes they say they blow and need rebuilt often but is that true? Just depends on how the rider cares for it

First off I'd wonder what was wrong with the 450, thats a heck of a trade. If the 450 runs strong and has been kept good then by all means jump on that like a fat girl on a moped.

the guy has three kids racing two on 85s, need another machine and mine all set pulled a first in the last race with it

air cooled 2 stoke if raced needs new top end every 10 hours if you want to stay competitive or wait for a failure
