i grew up with out a father, my mom worked 50+ hours a week to support us.. i got told lots of things, and herd lots of thing..

you think its hard now?? trade places with me for one week. work 40 hours a week busting for ass everyday to make sales, take care/raise a 4 year old and a one year old, find time to keep your wife happy, and do things around the house, and find the energry and time for your self now and then to go ride the quad for a few hours a week if your lucky...

Honestly dude. Be happy that you have parents. My mother was a a drug addict and my father was an alcoholic who beat my mother while I was growing up. That was before the state got involved and removed us from home. I never had guidance as a kid nor sat around a home cooked meal.

i feel bad for you but at the same time i envy you. i always believe that the people who have it the worst become the best people as adults

People take trivial issues way too seriously. Just go clean the damn car.
Today's schedule and activities:
Wake 6am
Work 7am
Hang out of a house installing 4 windows which weigh about 700 lbs each. Said windows are over 50' in the air. This is after moving them up a extremely narrow and tall staricase with a weak ass handrail.
After that drive 200 miles to next job and remove all flashing just to find out it needs to go right back on.
Come home after dark
Clean yard, clean out car (lol at the irony)
Wash car in preparation for car meet tomorrow

About to go to a cookout and get hammered and then go play cards afterwards until about 3-4am.
Then go to car meet tomorrow with hangover around 8 or 9 (which probably means 10)

Not to rain on your parade but school is easy.

To top it off on family issues, My little brother was arrested monday and has been in jail on a 1 million dollar for having sex with a underage girl who lied about her age. He is looking at 7 counts of statutory rape which if convicted is 112 years in prison. We do not have to money for an attorney...

i didnt read every post here but to be honest suck it up i come from the school of hard knocks. now that i look back on it i am glad my parents where hard on me because i am doing very well for myself. cleaning a car is not much to ask for if you ask me. sure you might be tired but i am tired from a week of work and still come home and do what needs doing. i am not one to put something off till tomorrow because it seems tomorrow never comes. shut the hell up and clean the dame care what could it take 30 mins ? 45 if your tired ? anymore then that you should be ashamed of yourself for not keeping up on it in the first place.

I was gonna get paid to do it, he said it dont matter if i wash it or not, but once i said i was exhausted, he just told me how bad of a work ethic i have. I work 40+ hours during my summer break. i only get paid minimum wage too. it sucks. buts its a job i have to do.

I get every chance i can at jobs, it just so happens its friday night, i dont have time to deal with getting the water out of lines, all in under 45 mins
plus i have to clean inside out too.

If It was my own car, i would be cleaning it every week, its just after my sisters spill coke, get snickers stuck between seats, it gets a little annoying. Thats why i prefer not to clean it til its warm when i can actually put up with the sh*t
