i see the sticky for the tors removel but is it tht imperetive that i do it and i cant mess anything up right ?

cool. since there have been so many failures of the tors i would unplug everything if you dont want to buy the "delete kit"

this way you can eliminate any electrical failures of the tors system right away

I recommend purchasing the delete kit. It's $30 well spent. The tors box on top of the carburetor prevents you from rotating the bowl out to the side to change jets easily. It's not just the possiblity of an electrical failure that can cause you to pull your hair out... it's also the ability to rejet easily.

T.O.R.S. = The Overly Retarded System . . . i wanna meet the guy that was sitting at the RnD conference table at Yamaha that said "hey!, lets put a throttle over ride on an already slow bike" ill punch him hard

I understand the idea. If the throttle sticks it'll just run away. It's a liability issue and if yamaha could have got everyone who had ever ridden a blaster to sign a waiver they wouldn't have had to put it on there. But by the same token, if you didn't have health insurance and your ride got away from you because the throttle hung and you got hurt really bad and lost your job and lost your house, you'd probably be ready to sue for damages. Even if it isn't you that would sue like that, someone would so they did what they had to to head that off...
