Tors Question

Throttle over ride system

I think mine is going...

i can ride any gear 1/3 throttle but when i go past that it bogs and then it starts to kill the engine gas receiving so it starves n slows down to a stop unless i give it less throttle

Is it my tors?

If so i have a 34-35 mm carb n kits on e-gay are set to fit 26-28mm carbs

IF not any ideas on what it is?

could be how long have you had the problem, reason I ask is cause that 34mm carb is pretty big for a stock bike. also how did you get tors on a a/m carb?

Everything just about was on when bought got from friend.....been through friends only history: Bought from dealer 07 - Calvin 09 sold - Brandon - me

in 09 when the quad was sold to brandon the 240 fire breather kit was replaced with a 220piston

Found out last night carb is a 38mm KHein carb sold by Trinity racing link: Trinity Racing | Yamaha Blaster Kits | Call 1-877-FASTOYS

and it has ran fine sine 09 with the big carb

If it has a 38mm carb then it doesn't have TORS.

Thanks thats what i am going to do cause it works fine up to 1/3 throttle.
and u think a air filter change...

another thing since carb so big it has a clamp on air filter lol what should i do.....call up trinity and ask>?

The air filter is dirty? That is enough of a problem right there. If it is a pod style clamp on filter then it is cleanable.

Foam or pleated K&N? (Is this the Blaster in your sig?) If so, get a K&N cleaning kit from your local auto parts store. All the chains carry them.

Def doesnt seem foam 99% sure its pleated K & N cuz has a trinity outerwear on it.

/e ill get pics right now of air filter n u can tell me for sure if its pod clamp on lol i think it is but im not 100% smart in quads even tho ive owned this blaster n a 2002 with 240 kit

Bad wording on my part. ANY foam or K&N style is cleanable. There are just different products needed for them.

If it is clamped directly to the carb, it is called a pod.

sounds like the main jet is plugged up id just clean the carb and filter and go from there

god damn! uh, a carb or filter shouldnt ever look that dirty. you need to take the carb off the bike and soak it in sea foam for a couple hours then wipe it down clean. thats probably 100% problem.
