Hey guys i just picked up an 06 blaster thats stock other than fmf pip/silencer and aftermarket wheels and tires. I'm going to do a midrange port on the cylinder and am wanting to try the torodial head design on this motor as i'm wanting the most lowend possible. does anyone have some dimensions for cutting this design? i've done the hemi style head before and liked it but wanting to go more lowend on this quad for XC racing. thanks!

I'm sure joeak47 will chime in here on his next visit.
he's the only one I know doing what he calls a torodial head cut,

Joe cut me a pair of matching volume hemi and torroidal heads so we could compare the results. Torroidal has an under powerband advantage and a sharp cut off at peak providing over-rev protection. I can see why the manufacturers are going that way. Here is a drawing we shared during discussions:

Another comparison, this torroidal is KTM125

My locally made hemi and torroidal (not Joe's).
The cone at the plug is left over from the original Blaster chamber.

And of course I will recommend filling the reedbox with 3oz of epoxy to take up volume and speed up flow.

The red is the places filled with epoxy. The original cut away is Joe's work too.

Combining these 2 features resulted in a very torquey Blaster, able to climb hills without over-reving or gearing down.
