my frinds blaster has a seized piston..can we buy a new top end and just put it on.if the crank is ok..

all you do is bore it out and put a new piston in simple as that, i wouldnt reccomend getting a top end from a different motor and toss it in unless you get the cylinder and piston then i dont really see too much of a problem
were tryin to find the chepist way.. he bought thought this quad @ 1500 and the stelership said 300 if the crank isnt f dup does that sound right??..he said the crank was 700.00...
a crank 700 whoever said that is high as hell, you can get a +3 stroker crank for 180. it should cost under 200 total, about 50-70 for the bore and about a 100 something for the piston kit

just check for sid to side play in the crank and up and down a little side to side is okay but up and down you want tight

Sometimes the bore might look good, until you stick a bore gauge in it and find .004 inches out of round or more.
