Toomey to LRD?

First question is will the LRD expansion chamber fit up to my current toomey silencer? If so is it worth it to switch to a right bend if I plan to go ported/ redesigned head? Reason I ask is that a guy is selling one that's like new, and asking $170. What would be a good price to offer? I probably wouldn't be willing to pay over $150. (I believe it is just for the expansion chamber (head pipe))

Note that this is for a trail quad, and I don't want to loose any more low end power.

If you have a toomey headpipe allready i wouldnt waste my money on the LRD. Myself i prefer the toomey head pipe anyways.

The LRD will not fit the toomey silencer with out some modification. LRD has a weird bend. But they are good pipes and rare now as they don't make them anymore!

My dynoport has more low end grunt then the toomey but for 150 is not bad considering lrd pipes are no longer availbe

You will have to mod the silencer cause the lrd comes so far back to meet the silencer

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I will give the person a call and see if it comes with the silencer. If it does I will consider it, if not I will probably just forget about it.

Well I guess it doesn't come with the silencer, he said "I think it fits up to the stock one, I just pulled it out of a box and I don't think I have it." Dude sounded out of it... If anyone is interested here it is. "LRD" Performance Pipe off 06' Yamaha Blaster
