hey guys, need some argument over what exhaust to get for my blaster... im debating F7 or toomey. toomey sounds a little better but iv heard that F7 kicks ass compared to toomey. what u got for info?

everyone around here loves the f7 and iirc it responds well if the engine has been modded where toomey is not as responsive. i'll be choosing the f7 when i get around to it.

all depends what u are going for, here is my general advice

lightly modded trail bike- toomey/fmf etc

highly modded bike- f7/ct/powerpros, all the same

Extremely modded- CPI but f7 is still applicable

Drag- Out of frame drag pipe

i would go for the f7 if i were u, cause u will catch the mod bug and end up wanting an f7 at one point

I agree with whitty. but cpi also makes a pipe for the stock bore motor as well. I ran a toomey for a while and i really liked it. only sold it to upgrade.

I have never rode a toomey. but I have a factory 7 and love it... it sounds amazing and makes great power.

depends on your mods/future mods what kinda riding alot of stuff would come into play here like whitty said toomey and fmf is great for a motor with some moderate work but when you start adding alot of people say they choke up the motor f7s great from what i hear but if your straped for cash and arnt doing snything to crazy you cant beat a used toomey imo or fmf for that matter

well so far motor is bone stock but i wanna get some VF3s and the f7

when I got my F7 the only thing I did was pull the airbox lid off and jet it and it felt like it had double the HP...

you will be happy with it.... and you will be even more happy with it when you get some real mod to your engine

I have a toomey and love it. If you go the toomey route, get the bundle. Comes with expansion chamber, silencer, airbox vents and a highflow filter. Added tons of power.

Yall see the B1 toomey pipe kit rocky mt. atv has? It looks awesome but I'm a little sketchy on the price... I was wondering what is a cheap but good pipe? my second question is could i mix and match a FMF silencer and stock pipes? and If i did that would i still have to jet it or no?

they are all better than stock buy a long shot, but f7 and toomey seem to be recomended for bikes with engine builds. where as a fmf is cheap adn wwould not bottle neck a mostly stock block.

Ok... I got my whole bottom and top end re done. I'm running V Force reeds and basically besides that i customized the opening on my air box. I got the block off kit and nothing else motor wise. I'm not to sure what my motors bored out but with all that said what pipe do you think would be best? I've been going back and forth and I just don't know what to get or what to do:-/

i went with the toomey, sounds SICK and the power increse blew my mind for a left bend pipe, though i still plan on gettin a port job from ken sometime, shaved head, and possibly a +3 crank... id have to get some input from xKroniK13x since he got a port job and has the toomey

i would stay away from toomey for the sole fact that it runs the jug alot hotter than say an f7 or dynoport or lrd. Ive heard of temp differences of up to 30-40 degrees between toomey and other top performer pipes. This was on a 240 kit, but seems like it would apply to stock bore.
