Soo I got a Toomey b1 pipe off of craigslist and the pipe end and the little exhaust piece that connects to the head dont seem to connect very well the piece on the head only slides into the expansion chamber maybe half a cm to 3/4 of a cm is that how its supposed to fit? I feel like it would leak. Do the springs keep it from leaking or what? Sorry new to blasters. And thank you ahead of time.

that doesn't sound right, most pipes go into the flange at least an inch or more.
check to see if one or the other is out of round, and if there is carbon buildup or something someone may have inserted into the flange to help it seal, blocking the pipe from seating completely.
the springs do not seal it, but hold it fully in place, the flange to pipe fit seals it.

Oh. Another quick question if that flange that is connected to the head is damaged where the beck would I find a good one?

This is maybe a silly question, but I saw fmf had a flange for sale also. And it was $20 cheaper then the Toomey flange. Does the pipe require the Toomey flange or would the fmf flange fit the pipe? Thank you

More than likely, the flanges are pipe specific.
