so i need the cylinder flange to head pipe o-ring for a b1, emails to toomey turn out the o-ring is 3.99 plus 7.99 shipping. what can i use as a replacement or where can i get one without ridiculous shipping?

i dont recall you needing a o-ring for the flange...it's just the flange, thats it...or am i just way off with what your ? is????

toomey actually told me just to find a silicone #223 o-ring anywhere, this one seller on ebay has 15 of them for 4.25 after shipping, so i know somewhere i can get one for like $2 bucks shipped. i wouldnt care but i can feel a small leak from the flange/header, not a big one, but i want it right. i might just get the 15 of them, cause so far, its the cheapest. that or the silicone sealant, but im afraid of what will happen when i try to remove that.

speaking of the Toomey B-1, is it true that you have to remove the oil injection from the Blaster, or can you keep it. I know a guy at the shop I was looking at the system at had said that you need to remove the oil injection, so I'm just a little confused.

No, that is not true. I just installed my Toomey and still have the oil injection system, and did not run into any installation problems. Most people just remove the oil injection because I guess their known to fail. No problems with mine yet. :knock on wood:
