I just fired up Blaster #2 today. Has a 310 jet in the Mik 28mm. The rest is stock, well no lid, just a foamy.

Barely smokes and runs like crazy.

Sure would of thought that would be all but, too rich.

Seems to be not the case.

I'll play with the jets later, just wondering if anyone else has been able to choke a Blaster off with too big a jet?

The blaster is a fuel eating machine put a 390 in there an it will still run great!!! hahaha well idk never tried it.....we need to get up an ride sometime i got my blaster done!!!

Hell yea!!

I"m about to tear them both apart and paint. Maybe some bushings if they are toast. My goal when I started this was to have two by spring. Let's figure, Aprilish. Then heck yea, I'm all about going out and tearing up some turf!! Today is the final check out for both Blasters, my Mom lives by some High tension lines and I am taking the kid over to get him a little seat time and run both rigs for a solid hour or two. Thyen he get's to learn every nut and bolt on it by taking them apart, cleaning and painting. I'll do the welding, he still a little scared of the welder. So if you have any frame issues lemme know!! I'm going to cut off the two capture nuts for the front fender brace and anything else I don't "need".

Oh yea, a black lower and upper A, swingarm and lower frame that fades into a deep dark burgandy upper frame...
Hmmmm, may look cool!!

taking the lid off the airbox is a simple but big mod for a blaster, it helps it get lots more air. you only step up like one jet size with an aftermarket pipe, but if you remove that airbox lid, you are supposed to step up like 6 sizes.

Hmmm?

May 'splain it. I'm a good 7 over the 230 and it's cold (in the 30's is cold down here).

Hey, rich is better than lean and she runs pretty good. Just kinda surprised me.

proper jettin will result in a gain of 1 to 2 HP go down one jet size an see if it dont run a lil stronger. have a quicker throttle response!

Yea

Well, all in all I'm thinkin' brakes first. Had runnin' but stoppin wasn't so good. Nothing on the rear and only one front. She pulls a tad when you brake.... Not to mention th esteering stem seems to have some play and the left front upper A is bent and the ball joint is toast. So got some issues before I start doin' plug chops.
