Title or Bill Of Sale

Can i get some help here? :-/ im looking for a used blaster and have called on maybe 15-20 so far and every one wants to give me a bill of sale? I was for sure everything that is 1990 or newer had a title at one time. Is there a safe way to buy a 4-wheeler used thes days?.... btw im in ohio.

in ohio it was either 99 or 2000 that they started to have titles, where in ohio you live?

yeah dude run the vin # before you buy anything. it is hard to find them with a title for some reason.

Bill of sale is just fine unless for some reason your required to get it registered and they require a title.

I live in brunswick... but the quad will go to my rents to be riddin, in willard. Dmv are the people I need to check with? Not state highway potrol? They handle theft don't they?

DMV can run the vin for you. so can the state pigs. but like i said, in ohio it was either 99-01 that they started using titles.
