Hi, i still have the stock rear ballon tires and i was wondering about a few things about getting new ones. First, what kind of tires do you recommend? I also have to take the balance of price and performance into consideration, because I do not want to spend on top notch racing grade tires just for trail riding. Second, should I buy the tires only and use my stock rims or should I buy a rear tire kit with rims... and if that is the best choice then what size rims and tires should I get? Any help would be greatly appretiated. Thanks!

i got maxxis razrs havent used em yet but heard there real good. or get some ITP holeshots heard there good to. and polished aluminum rims always look better then stock. get some 9 inchers and buy banshee rear hubs. and go aluminum all around if ya can with new tires not just the backs. take a look at the pic sig pic those are razr front tires on ITP polished aluminum rims
yea i would get rims/tires. and the best size for trail riding is
front: 10 inch rim.
tire size: 21x7x10
rear: 8 (stock blaster bolt pattern) or 9 (warrior, banshee bolt pattern) rims

^^^ for trails no. my 20in razr's are kick a$$! they're 4 ply so they're pretty durable. no flats yet! I run stock rims. if you want to run stock rims with raz'rs just make sure the last number in the tire size is an 8.
you can ride on either ply rating, just make sure not to scrape your sidewalls on the sharp stuff. but if you reuse your stock wheels get some tire slime and use it before you ride, i rock the slime in all my atv tires , cheap in surance to get you home when you need it.

dont forget that if you run stock rims you have to have the old ones takin off, and new ones on, with is about 200 bucks at a tire shop, so if you can find a tire/rim package, that is your best bet
WHAT!?!?!?!?!??!!??! dude you need to find another tire shop if they are charging you 200 bucks to swap tires, it should be like 10-20 bucks a tire. Also I really don't recommend running slime, I worked at a tire shop and slime is the devil, we tended to charge extra if tires came in with slime in them because the extra time it take to properly repair a tire cause you have to clean that nasty sh*t out.
My favorite rear tires are the Maxxis all trak 22x11-10 they perform great on all surfaces but they are only 2 ply. I also run them on douglas .190 4/100 wheels with a 3"x 5" offset and they make the rear wider, about 1" on each side.
