There is a really good thread in the DIY section on making your own adjustable stator plate or youcan buy one from Vito's or Ricky Stator. Vito's also sells an offset key.

adjustable timing plate is the wayto go? or will the key work just as well?

With the key you only get set timing advance but with the plate you can adjust your timing alot more its really on how far do you want t go with your timing

it should be power all over. the blaster runs really really really low timing



and you can't just "go as far as you want to go" you can run into detonation issues, or if you really get crazy, it'll just run backwards lol
