I had the vitos degree key on my big bore, but I didn't notice much change to be honest. There was a little but not enough to make it worth buying the key. I would just slot the stator plate like 03blasteryfs03 said. Think of it this way, its easy and you can always change it back if you dont like it. Just try to keep it around 3-4 degrees to be safe.

I liked the +4 vitos key ,at least do the +4.If you do trail riding you will like the added pull down low.I have played with the timing for a while now and i have settled in on +6 but im running 100ll fuel. I have tried +4.5,6,7,8 and +6 is it for me I:I

it is a good mod for power no matter what else you have done. but you may have to run high octane to be safe

If you put the flywheel on correctly and torque the nut it has no more chance of shearing than stock. The key is only to locate/time the wheel. The off-set of the key will be towards the direction of rotation. If you haven't bought it I would just slot the plate and use the money elsewhere. I did the mod on the Blaster and used a key on the Banshee, only cause I had it.
