how many degrees should i go with my setup i was thinking about doing this and if anybody had some pics on how to do it with a stock stator i would like to see some and wat does the timing help my nephew advanced the timing on his banshee and said it was the best thing he ever did to his heavily modded banshee and i wonder wat it will do for my setup

im unsure of what your setup is your sigs six miles long of parts i dont see sooooooo list your mods
and also theres a diy on how to do a 4 degree timing advance thats what most run i personly would rather get the head cut

It changes the time that the spark ignites the gas in the engine. I've heard that it will wear your motor out much quicker and may cause detonation which we all know what happens with that. Motor go boom-boom. Stick with the motor you got bud. I haven't done the timing mod to mine and it is fast enough to be competitive. And if you want to race, work out and eat a good diet. Nothing on that wheeler can make you faster than if you are in top physical form.

correct, thats why race gas is needed generally, but like hudack said, the head cut is the best option imo

Yeah its not worth buying a new motor because of some timing change messing your whole cylinder up. Get the head cut, put a right bend on it and in my opinion change that barrel of a carb that you have to a 30mm. Gear it and widen it. Shocks are most important. But as I said earlier, your race only lasts as long as your body does. Believe me it's enough to make a difference.

ok i am defiantly not doing race gas but the vitos head is redesigned so i should shave it??

no if you sent it to someone on here they can do alot more with it........

also are you even sure its a vitos how do you know for sure if i remeber right the guy told you it was a ct

No. A 30mm is imo the best carb to run for a race track. And I dont see reeds on your list. Put some reeds on it and it will give you the snap you need for racing.

That 35mm carb doesnt mean that you get more power. Because it is so big, you are getting less velocity of air which pulls less fuel. A common misconception is that the bigger carb, the more gas.

id try more around a 33mm but once again im gana ask are you sure its a vitos cause i coulda sworn that before you said that it was a ct and now its a vitos have you mesured the cylinder???
guys on here are using 38 and that is wayyyyyyyy tooo big

they have alot more done thien you do they can use a carb that big but alot of them are drag raccing the bigger the carb the less lowend but more topend lowend is what you want for mx

it came with a ct the ct is junk unless i resleeve it and i'm not doing that so it will go bye bye and i put the vitos in it and the trenga in my flat track so noo more ct
