Hi guyz

Im thinking of getting my blaster ready for the track. I ride track mostly but do ride trail sometimes. I need all the advice i can get so it ripz. Please guys i need this

well if your racing 'sanctioned events' you are very limited to what you can do, i think 240 bb kit puts you in a higher class but unsure, you would have to wait for a racer to chime in...

other wise the basics.. nerf bars, hand gaurds kill swith, better shocks, good tires ( holeshots or razrs) v force 3 reeds bigger carb, tors removeal oil injection removal

also you are gonna wanna widen you quad (wider rear axle some diffarnt a arms possibly a front tire flip depending on the year of your blaster) this is gonna make you more stable in the turns you should also extend your swingarm if you want (this will help you from wheeling out of the hole)if you want a good deal on a beefy swinger and wanna save a lil cash hit up yb200 on here he does some awsome work also you may look into getting you some differant front plastics or have yours cut this helps for when you are leaning into those real sharp turns you can get down on the side of the bike better with that notch being there instead of the stock fender blocking your knee and you not being able to do this as well and deffantly gotta get yourself some diffarnt suspesion yor gonna find out real quick the stock sh*t blow and your gonna be bottoming out left and right well bro this is just the important things that I can think of I hope this helps you out

Around me, you would race in the Sportsman ATV class which includes: 0-200cc 2-Stroke (Air cooled) and 0-250CC 4-Stroke and you have to be 16 or under. You can do anything you want to your quad as long as you have OEM cylinder/bore/stroke within the displacement limits

Well, Under the categories ENGINE, SUSPENSION, and DRIVE.

Engine: Starting with pipe, I would recommend a better brand than FMF, like a Factory 7, Toomey, Bills, Shearer, just anything other than FMF. Another thing that might be good on your engine is some nice Carbon reeds, the most known brands are Boyesen and VForce, both make great reeds. Let me sugest one more thing, that is, Intake. Including Air Filter and Carburetor. You need to be running the proper jets in your Carburetor because you could not be benefiting from the performance upgrades. Infact, you could even blow your motor and have to spend around $250 to fix it in most areas. Air Filters are important because they let your Motor breathe better. You will have nothing if you re-jet and get a pipe without letting your atv breathe. Uni makes a good product and so does Twin Air and K&N. Thats about the basics.

Suspension/Handling: There isn't much to talk about in here but basically, if your going to be jumping tabletops, singles, doubles, and even triples, you for sure are gonna blow your stock shocks out and even get really hurt. Get some nice Racing Shocks. Fox Shox, Elka, Works, and Ohlins make great shocks (More brands to list, just too many). Another that is good to have a nice spaced out quad. On my blaster i have 2.5in rear wheels spacers on each side for a total of 5in wider quad. This helped me alot when i take tight corners and stuff. Along with a good spaced out quad is good tires too. I have 18in ITP Holeshots (MXR6's to be exact) that work good. ITP's and Maxxis are both great brands.

Drive:This is a description that is kinda medium sized. Drive is important if you want more torque/acceleration and Power/speed. If you increase front sprocket teeth, you get more speed. If you decrease the front sprocket teeth, you get more torque. If you increase rear sprocket teeth, you get more torque. If you decrease rear sprocket teeth, you get more speed. If you end up buying new chain and sprockets, make sure you get an O-Ring chain since your racing. If your swing-arm is stock it would be good if you got an extended swing-arm because it helps with jumps so you dont land it on your 2 rear tires. I hope this enough to tell you about your drive.

I hope this helps you get started with some stuff to get to race.I:I

Ok before anything, DO NOT GET WHEEL SPACERS OR THE DIAMONG J WIDENING KIT!!!

If your gonna be racing do it right and thats a-arms with the shocks and axle. Racing is expensive thats the truth.Dont even think of using spacers or the DJ kit for widening they will do absolutely nothing to your handling and they can and will cause a crash when being raced.

GEt your suspension done, then proceed to motor.
