think these reeds are done for???????

get some reeds and as long as the plug isnt black or white ur fine i didnt mess with my needle position and sh*t and it still runs like beast!!

When you pull the needle out of the slide it should look something like this. The rings around the top of the needle are the clip positions if the clip is toward the point it is richer toward the blunt end is leaner

great pic.. that helped me alot i never removed it completely from the top of the slide.. so where do i want the clip..

id start by the middle position and go from there tune for response .id say your reeds are toast flipping them wont help once they are gone they are done , but thats probably not all entirely the reason for the blubbery midrange

i took the jet out and looked at it and put it back in.. there were some numbers on it which i didnt write down and will make note of tomorrow when i pull apart again. i didnt remove the needle from the top i left it connected. and will look at the position of that as well.. do the needles wear out??

im not sure if they wear out but if they do i just bought a carb rebuild kit off ebay for like 15 bucks that had the jets, gaskets, an needle all included so theyre not hard to find
