hey guys thanks for all the knowledge , Im knew to two strokes but have been a mechanic all my life, I now have the blaster running after swapping out the carb and it seems to be running well but still wont idle its an 06 and has never idled since new, the new top end sounds real good

was also wondering if taking the baffle out of silencer would cause it not to idle but I am going to try to bypass the switch in the thumb throttle when the weather wams back up

one more question how do you get back to thread that you posted

its just the switch thats stopping the idleing or your idle speed, and i dont know

probably lean. did you rejet for taking the baffles out?

no I have not rejetted but I do know that I need to, trying to wait for the weather to warm up, I have put in a set of the vitos dual pedal reeds and the wiseco piston and crank kit the piston is 20 over, but the plug looks really good after only an hour of total running

well when i was building my engine it would not idle at all when the air filter was off but when i put it one it idled great it wouldnt idle with the filter off because the engine was not getting enough gas and to much air so thats probably what your experincing.

no the air filter and intake are all installed with the lid on

what zwister is saying is that your not getting enough gas and to much air so thats probably what your experincing not that your air filter isn't on just that it sounds like the same prob he had with his off.

when you start it up, then give it gas, it runs great?
if so, adjust the idler on the TORS.
