taking a link out of chain

anyone ever adjusted the chain to the max and had to take a link out????

I have the adjusting screws on the chain all the way in and the chain is still a little loose.....

Now what????

whens the last time you put a chain on it?

well, that means you need a chain, but for a temp fix like to go riding that day or something you can cut a couple links out beside the master link and hook it back up, loosen the tighteners all the way up and put it back on

to take a link out just cut the pin with a grinder i had to do it with mine but just get a new one because the one you have now will just keep stretching out

If your chain is that far gone your sprockets are HASHED too.

i try'd that sh*t before, cuttin links out, yeah links, you cant just take one, ya gotta do an outer and an inner, and it made mine so short it was too tight, so just get a new one, or your gonna fry your spockets, if ya already didnt
