switching to handel bar head light?

ok well I can't stand the cyborg eye on my blaster. so I have started colecting parts to remove it

I bought the older handel bar headlight and a new custom vented hood.

now will the oldstyle headlight bolt up or do I need to buy a steering stem or handel bar clamps or something off the older model? what about wiring? will i have any issues there?

has anyone done this?

the wiring will mate right up. not sure about the steering stem having the right mounts.

in this link the 4th pic down shows what the top of a steering stem from the older models looks like. does yours have these mounts???? if so you can mount that light right up.

The light mounts to the guard and the guard should mount right to the stem. Wiring is identical.
