swingarm extension kit

I had one and it lasted about 3 races then the p.o.s. cracked. I wouldn't use one if you plan on jumping your quad because there made out of aluminum and won't hold up

i had a set and they were junk they dont work with a rear skid plate i could never keep the mounting bolts tight and they crack and bend very easily.

Ive been using it for many years.Ive flat landed this thing over 12 ft and it did not break.I would recomend its use for trail.I purchased this thing when it first came out for over 125 dallars or something.Use lock tight and make sure its tight. And also double check to make sure you mount each side correctly.I didnt think of it now I half to pull it apart to get my brake to fit back on......This was just a temporary part until I purchased a full swinger which is what I would do in any case.

Look at the Dates, on the other posts. ;)

The funny thing though as I have just got around to putting the back brake on.Lol the brake wont fit.Not sure if its a banshee add on or just something overlooked.I purchased this part years ago not sure about the newer ones. But something to look into.Aw well.Guess I will be getting a swinger sooner than later.Another thing about them is the bolts like to come loose.Ive really torqued them with a breaker bar and they will still loosen up so its a good ideal to keep an eye on them.Highly recoment locktight.

Did you use spring washers.

Over tightening fasteners, causes the threads to stretch which will make them subject to loosening under pressure or vibration.

Over tightening seems a good idea at the time but can cause catastropic results, tourque recomendations should not be exceeded for obvious reasons.

Yes I used what came with the kit.Yeah I overtorqued them to the point the bolts will need to be replaced next service.Best to use locktight and tighten to spekish.
