I ride a 02 blaster and today I picked up a 04 with no motor but it just had all the brakes, bearings bushings, and ball joints replaced in the swinger and a arms and new shocks also just no motor. I'm wondering if the swing arm and a arms will fit my 02 blaster? I know it would be easier to put the motor in the 04 but I just want to see if everything would switch over to my 02. Anyone tried anything like this?

yep they will swap right over, a blaster is a blaster no matter the year, only a few things changed on the 03-06's but the a-arms and swingarm will swap right over

Thank alot! I figured I'd ask before I tore it all apart and found out they won't work. Woulda ruined my find lol. So ready to start rebuilding my bike tomorrow

Thanks for the info! What got this whole goose chase is I got to crazy in some mud and spun my wheels right out of the stock tires and tore the beeds to hell so I was browsing Craigslist and found a rolling chassis with new shocks hydro brakes and a freshly rebuild Alex carrier and a arms. So I figured that's all stuff I could use and at a great price. It came with tires that hold air but there about bald so, in the long run I got good parts but still stuck with bad tires haha

Today I got everything switched over today everything bolted right up, except the brakes. Had to break out the souther engineering and home make some brackets for the foot lever and the hard line mount on the front but all of it works:)
