So i'm wondering what types of mods I should do. The blasters primary use will be for trails, occasionally opening it up in a field or gravel road. I won't be racing at all. Just riding around through the woods. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on this, just wondering what some good add on's and changes would be to make my blaster as good as it can be in that area. I'm looking for gearing, reeds, pipes, air filters, anything that might optimize my trail riding experience

You should do Pipe, porting, air filter, bigger carb, reeds, gearing...in that order

What gearing, reeds, pipe, and air filter do you recommend? it already has an fmf fatty pipe with a core 2 silencer.

What size tires do you have? Vforce 3 reeds are pricey but the best, next best would be Boyesen Reeds. Your FMF is good, are you jetted for that pipe? Uni air filter and take your air housing off for more air flow, you will need a bigger jet if you do that though.

I'd grab some v-force 3 reeds, ( increases throttle response dramatically ) uni or no toil air filter as a good foam air filter will protect your engine much better then say a k&n filter if your gonna be mostly trail riding. And I personally like the itp mudlites for the rear tires. I have them on my blaster and hardly ever get stuck, and have conquered many steep mud/dirt hills with ease ! The itp mudlites truly make the blaster a " clymer "

Removing your air box lid will create more/better air flow but for your style of riding ( especially in mud and lose dirt or sand I would keep the lid on. It's safer for your engine and without it you'll be cleaning your filter after every time you ride. Being your gonna be trail riding and not racing, keep the lid on ! ( just my opinion )

I was going to chime it but seems like you guys have already beaten me to the punch !

I would keep your fmf pipe and add a high flow filter, v force/ boyessen reeds, a set of itp mud lights would be nice for the rear if you will be mudding, nerfs so your feet are protected from trees and that should be good

I have boysen super stock reeds in the mail. It has been jetted. I'll order a uni filter in a week or so, the mudlites will have to wait til I get some extra cash. as of right now, it has holeshot rear tires, which seem great for gripping more solid surfaces, but not so much anything wet or mushy.

Just remember that even tho you might be jetted now, any time you make a air flow change you must at least check or change jetting.
As to mud lites, I think they're great, except that you have to work harder to slide/donut with them, lots of side bite.
https://www.denniskirk.com/outerwears/pre-filter-sheets.p305420.prd/305420.sku I would consider getting this and fabbing an open lid. Best of both worlds, practicly no lid, and protection from mud and water.
