stumped..kx 125 carb?

so i traded my stock 2000 blaster for a 1990 kx 125.yaya im sure theres gona be some haters but its quicker and has more of a scare factor.but for the guys who know whats up .i was hoping you could tell me why my bike only has power when its at high rpm on the powerband but its not as spappy as it should be like for a wheelie or before a jump..i cleaned the carb and filter and got a new plug ..any advice would be wonderful.and ..its still a 2 stroke..

Sounds like a powervalve problem to me.

no its easy to start w the choke after about two kicks.. it has alot of power once you get it going but it takes a while to build it up..a wheelie is like pulling teeth.but posible after its screaming..some guy said stuck flote but he seamed skechy
