i plan on building a stroker motor and dont know if i should do a 3mm or 4mm. is there any real difference from a 4mm stroker motor compared to a 3mm as far as power. can i get the same power out of a 3mm as i would a 4?

yep they sell ton's of them, vitos is the main one you can find. I have a top end all set up and ready to go for a 3mil stroker. checkout my forsale thread

like stated before, just go with the +3 because the power difference from a +4 is not that much more to where it's worth trenching your cases, etc... if your trail riding you'll be fine. the only practical use for the +4 would be for drag racing since you wanna get every little bit of power you can out of the motor. if your not dragging i wouldnt suggest it. also when you trench you have an increased risk of breaking/cracking your cases since it can get pretty thin sometimes depending on who you get to do the work.

wasnt gonna comment on the 3 year old post :p but for new readers i also recommend the +3, 1mm will not be much more for the work involved. Aswell as hotrod makes most common +4 stroker which r a stock design. But vitos makes a good 3+mm that has a stuffed crank which takes up case volume and increases turbuence. Really usefull when making hp. VITOS
