I tore down the top end of my 01 Blaster. I believe it has a stroker kit, but need help to identify. The connecting rod is kind of a brass color and the case and the bottom of the rod have clearly been shaved down a little. The numbers on the rod are 43G. I measured the jug and it appears to be stock bore. Any info you can give me on those #'s on the rod would be great.

all of the numbers are different so hard to tell. Your better off measuring from pin to pin. The rod is supposed to be 105mm.
There is a sticker on the tank that says Vito's Performance. So I am assuming if it is stroked its a Vito kit. If that helps. Is the 105mm center to center of the pins? I tried to measure it buts its hard to get an accurate measurement without pulling out the rod.
its a stock crank. i have the top end off my blaster right now, so it was easy for me to see the numbers. mine says 43G as well.
If it is a vitos crank it will have the blue stuffer blocks on it. If it is a stroker it may have a shim that goes between the jug and the cases, unless of course the head has been re-cut to accept the longer travel.
If it is a stock rod and crank then why would the rod and case be shaved? Any ideas? Surely theyre not like that from the factory are they?
