Whats up guys i just bought the vito's +3mm stroker kit and had a few questions and would like to hear from professionals as opposed to a few knuckleheads lol. I was going to attempt this myself.. Is this a good idea? I have a mediocre mechanical background...ive had the engine in half pretty much once before. Besides that I have a few other questions
1. When pulling the crankshaft, its recommended to replace bearings/seals as well correct?
2. Im going to bore/port my head, do i need to give them everything at once? or can i bring just the cylinder and work on the stroker installation? (im thinking no b/c of the port matching right?)
3. Do I need to install that spacer provided? With a .040 over bore and ported head..will i have problems?

Thanks in advance you guys are great I:I

i put mine in with no probs man, its pretty simple, make sure u have the manual....it helps with remembering where alot of stuff goes.. while u have the cases apart..yes put new crank bearings in and all the seals

as far as the porting, u have to talk to ur builder to see if he will bore it for u....or u could send him a freshly bored cylinder so all he has to do is port work also yes use the spacer plate, i have run mine retardly hard for well over a yr now, and i have not had 1 issue with leaks or anything, if u have any probs just let us know, thers losta guys here that have installed the stroker and will gladly helpout

i see so maybe ill give it a shot, as far as a builder, theres a shop local that my friend used and they did nice work, i think i might go with them. i really dont want to deal with shipping and whatnot. i'd love to go with flotek, i spoke to denny a few days ago but i dont think it will work out in my favor..
