Hi all.
I just want to hear if I have a cleanup port and intake/exhaust port and loads of other tuningparts.. exhaust etc...

Will i then be able to run a stroker crank ? Will it work? with no modification on the ports inside the bore.. Will it run/ not run / run poorly?

My plan is a new crank.. but im not gonna further modify the cylinder..

Or is this crank ONLY and i mean ONLY designed for heavy porting?

Because on Vito´s site they state it will give 4hp WITH COMPLETLY STOCK PARTS..... so it sounds like it will work..

You can run a 3mm stroker with a unported cylinder. It will be fine. But porting it will really compliment it well.

nothing of your motor will change running a +3 crank as long as you use the supplied adaptor plate except you'll notice more power/torque. if you don't want to use the adaptor plate thats supplied then you will have to get your ports changed and your head chamfered.

if you leave it unported for the new stroke you will likely get about only a third of the potential gain so i guess there is some~ benefit

Well that 1/3 will be as stated +4hp and more torque. . . . I can live with that.. it´s 4 free horses.. compared to none if i choose stock crank.. My cylinder is home ported intake/exhaust and cleaned transfers .. So it will perform very well, be reliable and run great i hope! ..

Or corse more power is always good.. but I´ll think ill be good with this solution.. My other mods will further beef it up ..

Does ANYBODY had ANY trouble / problems with the stroker crank? I mean it´s only Vito who makes them ?
