yes,but you need to ground the extra wire. atleast i had to on one of mine.

is that to make the 88-2002 harness work with the 2003+ years stator?what about to make the 2003+ harness work with the 88-2002 stator? i tried a 98' stator on a 05' harness and my lights didn't work but the bike started. jus wonderin if anyone else had this problem?and if there is a way to make the older year stator work?

ive ordered a new stator for mine, its a ricky one, comes with 5 wires but has a wiring diagram to show you how to use it on both types of blaster, if your not sorted in a week pm me ill sort you out with this wiring diagram they send.
