stator probs

ok well my stator is messed up the coil with the thicker wire on it has been spashed a lil and has cut some of the wires but my bike wont stay running and one of my dads friends sayed that coil gose to the headlight witch could explain y it wouldnt work but would that cause my bike not to start

No, down on your stator you have two packs, one is for your ignition and the other is for your lights. Atleast, this is what I've been told

your right 245, the stator has a ignition coil and a lighting coil, just try changing the lighting coil

yea but i dont want the light but being thats slashed would it mess anything up i dono if that runs on a complet circit or if its 2 sepret circits so hopefuly some one will kno cus i dont feel like wasting 50 bucks
