I posted this once before but can find my post for the answer the stator i have is 5 wire my harness is 4 wire what do I need to do to use this stator with my harness

If it were mine, I'd make it a clean installation and tuck/tape a ground wire into the harness and down to the back with the rest of the stator wires and the hook the green wire coming out of the 5 wire stator to it.
You can go all ghetto if you want and just snip the end off and wrap the wire around any bolt head....

im in the same boat but theres no green wire coming off my new stator so sut would fella do about that anyone have an idea ?
got red white ,yellow red ,blue white , black , black red? i have no idea wut wire to ground any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

if there's no green wire then it's a 4 wire stator, not 5
plug them 4 in color to color
