Today I kicked it about 20 times and it started and I let the choke in and it died I tried to start it again and it wouldn't. First guess was the spark plug but I don't know how to check it or anything. Any suggestions?

3 things are needed for and engine to run, spark, fuel, compression.first check your compression with a compression tester.140-160psi is good compression.if your compression is under 120 psi a top end rebuild is needed.check to see if your fuel line is clogged,or if your carb is dirty.check your air filter if its dirty clean it. change your plug.

It had to have spark if it started once but to check it just pull the plug out then connect the ignition wire to it again and hold the tip of the plug about 1/4 inch from the engine fin and kick it. Make sure u hold onto the rubber part of the plug boot or it will shock you. If it has spark check to make sure its getting fuel to the carb.

How do I do a compression test? Do I use a standard air pressure guage and where do I check? The air filter is brand new, and I unplugged the fuel line to the carb and gas poured out so that should be fine. I am going to clean the carb anyways so ill check the reeds then.

Too check comp you need a comp tester. Its a gauge with a hose on it that screws into the spark plug hole. Screw it in and then hold the throttle wide open and kick it until the gauge won't go any higher. If the comp is under 100 psi its time for a rebuild.

well you said you dont know how to check your plug if its fouled...
pull your plug out and see if it wet or really black or smells like gas really bad if thats the case put a new one in and try again

where is the spark plug even at? and what type would i need for an 02 blaster and what is the gap size just in case i do need a new one?
