starting a rebuilt engine

I was wondering about how many kicks it usually takes to start rebuilt engines. My engine usually takes about 3 kicks so I was wanting to make sure its ok.

yea its fine... of turn ur gas off when ur done riding it takes about that many to get the gas going threw the carb again

after i put my big bore cylinder, new head, new piston, new carb and new pipe on, she started third kick.
