I have a 05 blaster and it was running great but when I was riding it it just stalled and was hard to get started again. Once it started it idle rough and when I gave it throttle it reved really rough, when I put it in gear and start to take off it runs really rough goes about two feet and stalls.....TORS alredy removed

u shoulda inspected things before u order that topend. do u kno if its bored over if its gana need bored over u dont even kno if thats what it needed. shoulda tryed new plug check the reeds carb the basics.
shouldve done ur homework before throwing out the chedda on a top end bro.....could be something simple
Drained the gas and put new gas in, put in a new plug, checked the carb, didnt check the reeds though. and i measured the cylinder and it was stock. and since i already had the top end off why not replace everything.
you said you checked it, did you clean the carb?
how about the air filter?
did it make any difference with the stuff you did?

no nothing ive done so far has made any kind of difference, i did notice that when i pulled off the piston one of the rings looked like it was hung up in the grove of the piston
Dude, have you checked those reeds yet? Could be something else, but that was a classic description of reed failure that you gave.
Alright well i got the new top end and put it in, but as i was installing it i checked the reeds and what do you know one was broke....insert smart ass remark here....but atleast i know i now have a fresh top end and the new reeds should be here monday
Expensive lesson, but having a fresh top end is nice....Thanks for the update. I know it's embarassing admitting a goof, but we ALL learn that way.
