Sprocket

Friend has a Stock Blaster, maybe a '98. The front Sprocket is missing some teeth and we're looking to replace it. Question is, 14 tooth or 13 tooth for Stock? What about the rear Sprocket aswell?

And is there a specific type of chain or anything?

changing your gearing affects your top speed and acceleration. a smaller front sprocket will give ya more get up and go but a slower top speed, a larger rear does teh same thing. OR a bigger front gives ya more topend but slower take off and a smaller rear does the same thing. changing 1 tooth in the front is the samw as changing 3 in the back.

with stock tires i would stay 13, smaller aftermarket ones 14, i would leave the rear stock, but it is a good ideal to swap the whole deal at the same time, reduces the chance of premature wear. Look for an o-ring chain, bit pricier, but worth is
