Springbreak in Cancun?

Id stick to the resort and not venture too far off in mexico lately... my friend was there last year around this time and got jumped and they beat the piss outta him... he didnt even know what happened.. they found him in some bushes all bloody and messed up...
Hm thats not good, were staying at riu cancun its a 5 star resort so it should be fun.

I stopped in Cancun when I was on a Carnival cruse. I chartered a trip for marlin. I ended up catching a nice mahi-mahi. The captain cleaned it and took us to his buddies restaurant. They cooked it up and we drank a bunch of tequila. All I saw was the port authority and a little bit south but I could see how things change really fast when you get out of touristville. Everything was cool at first but 2 miles down the road were military personnel with machine guns. Be sure to visit Senor Frog's and make sure you eat before you go. Hot chicks and cold beer.

and yea ken i was in puerto vallarta last year and was thinking about doing some fishing.

Ive heard that cancun is pretty bad lately.. id have to assume if i was a mexican gang of theives id be hitting up all the drunken ahole white kid college bars to find me someone with one of those $500 iphones to jump.....
That being said.. dont make yourself a target, and you wont become one.... Id dress casual.. dont dress like a rockstar.. Id take very little cash... no technology and nothing of subtainable value... and id try to keep a low key and only talk to tourist bitches...

I make a monthly trip to Mexico to bring product back to the states. I've never had a problem with the natives or border patrol.
the border patrol will be waiting the next time you haul a van load of underage mexican boys back to cincy
