a buddy of mine give me some spark plugs from where he works.
NGK BR8ES and he said they r better. stock plug or so my manual says is
B8ES. whats the differ in the two? thanks

I dont believe it is hotter I thought that had to do with the number br8 or br9 I think. I think it is the same plug with the resistor like 98blaster said.

Yes, BR8ES is the same thing as B8ES. Like what98blaster+4 said, the R stands for resistor. I use both. Cant tell a bit of difference. Just make sure when you change plugs your threads are the same length!

Yea but your bike will. Check your manual. I think you will find the 2002 and up call for a resistor plug and 2001 and earlier a non resistor.
You could damage your coil or CDI if you don't use the correct plug.

i have had the same B8ES in my quad for over a year and no problems

i have been very happy with br8eg plugs, supposedly a bit tougher of a plug that resists fouling. i havent fouled one yet and there are some sections that i have to drive in 1st for a bit I:I
