somewhat of a rebuild (400ex)

Not much of a rebuild....All I'm doing is taking A-arms off to paint, throwing new tires on, and getting my motor fixed. I set up a poll for you guys to give me ideas for paint color. My frame will be PC'ed this fall a Honda red color, if that gives you any ideas as well? I will be ordering different a arms though in 2012, they will be black for sure....

For those of you who chose black, what "type" of black? Like Satin, gloss, semi gloss, flat?

I like it too, easy to wash, its very easy to screw up with painting it IMHO.....

got my a-arms and shocks finally off!!! here's some pics!

A-Arms will be painted Red Semi-Gloss on top, and Black Semi-gloss on bottom! Lower Arms will have a Honda sticker on them!!! (I know you guys don't like Honda's!!!)

Decided I'm gonna get these a-arms sandblasted. I'm eager to get the paint off of them and its way too cold to be outside using paint stripper, although it is working great!!! Once these baby's get sandblasted, I will find a nice, warm place to paint, get 2 coats of Primer, let that dry overnight, then get 2-3 coats of Semi-Gloss Black on them!!! Going all semi gloss black because I thought it would look better.

I know i was gonna paint them semi-gloss black, but every where in town wouldnt sell the rust-o-leum brand. I just got some regular gloss black protective enamel and some auto paint primer (grey)

Been awhile since I have posted pics or updates, but I had tests all this week in school, so study, study, study! But I got some pics of her finally, almost done....

Yes, I realize the upper left a-arm (looking at it) is a different color.

Remember, this is as sh*tty as it gets when it comes to painting witha rattle can, i didnt prep to the best of my ablilities. I did this for one reason, I know I'm getting some A/M A-arms in september....

EDIT: I Did repaint that upper left a-arm, i ran out of paint and didnt realize the stuff i picked off the shelf was not the same gloss as the stuff I was using...

Here are some more, just of the clutch cover, got bored waiting on paint to dry so i decided to do a little custom polishing, this was done with a pack of coarse-medium-fine steel wool, i used WD-40 to keep it nice.... Here are some pics...
