So im buying 2 blasters soon and i got some questions.

Im planning on racing this summer and the one blaster im buying is a 99 with fmf pipe and silencer and the motor is bored out .60 but the topend is blown. So would i just buy a wiesco .60 piston from rockymountainatv?

And the other one is going to be my main race qaud other will be trails. But both have the oil injection system and i was wondering what is so bad about it? I hear you should take them right off when you get the quad? Is it because the pump fails and makes the motor blow.seize up? Also how hard is it to put on the block off kit and should i just run a 32:1 ratio?

Thanks for the help, ill be posting up a project thread once i get them which should be in the next week or 2.

first question... no you should not buy a pistion yet.. wait till you can see the jug first. it may need to be bored out. in that case you would buy ever which size piston you need to bore to. You can also get into a case like I did. When I bought mine the guy said it was bored .40 but come to find out when I rebuilt it was stock bore. Never go by what someone else says check it yourself.
second question.... yes take on oil injection. it is like a small insurance. if you mix your own gas there is no worry about it failing. It isn't any harder to mix gas then it is to fill up both tanks. it isn't hard to put on and the most common mix is 32:1

Alright so if i was to take off the injection kit what tools do i need and how hard is it? The motor is indeed a 200cc blaster motor bored .60 over, and what is the tors system? What does it affect?

its not hard you take off the pump cover and take the pump off and install the oil block off kit a pieace of meatal gasket and two screws. the TORS is the trottle override system which cause no spark or misfire due to malfuction (you can count on occuring) cheack the DIY section to take off your TORS
