Just got done putting new crank seals (thanks AWK) in my 94. Discovered it had a massive leak when I did a leakdown test. It wouldn't hold any air and I could hear air escaping from the crankcase vent.
Got it apart and discovered that it didn't have the bearing spacer that goes between the right crank bearing and crank gears. Talk about a vacuum leak, there was a 1/4 inch gap between the seal and the crank! On top of that, I discovered the idiot had not indexed the crank to the countershaft! Dumb mother trucker. No wonder it "vibrated a bit".
