what i need help with i found a cylinder and head for cheap from wwholden.
i need to know the biggest bore i can go i think it's 68.50mm but not sure??

also gonna call ken and have him do some work on it...

things id like to have done

1) bored 55.00 $
2) agressive trail port 150.00 $
3) head machining 60.00 $

this will all be for a stock crank and kinda would like some feed back on the power all this add's i know bores add hardly any. im mainly wondering on the trail port and head work... this will not be done until i get enough money for a full rebuild but i am gonna start saving money for the work to be done by ken then go from there hopefully this can be a winter build I:II:I

it is a world of difference when you go from stock porting to ken's porting. he is one of the best in the business. i run his setup on my 06 blaster, actually it's the first motor setup i built, i had a the trinity pipe and 35mm keihin on it and it friggin' ripped. you will not be disappointed.

ok and max bore size is 68.50mm right i think the cylinder i was looking at is 67.25mm or something like that

i think that is max bore size iirc. it's .90 over w/e that equals in mm.

ok thanks my plan's are bore untill i get close to max then resleve to stock and go back through the bores again if need be



edit: yep .80 over is 68.00mm thanks again bud

you don't want to waste bores on a cylinder. and max piston size is 68.25. but you just want to go to the next bore size. resleeving a cylinder is expensive and not worth it in my book

ok i just didnt want to bump this money to later have to get another cylinder and i was only going to the next bore size just want to know max so i know how many more bore's i had

IMHO porting a jug with only a few bores left, is throwing good money away.
